Brazilian leather and shoe machinery directory to be launched at show

ABRAMEQ (Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Machines and Equipment for the Leather, Footwear and Allied Trades) will launch its first directory for the sector at FIMEC 2004 (International Fair for Leather, Components and Machinery, April 15-18, FENAC Exhibition Grounds, Novo Hamburgo/RS). 

 

Providing information on machinery and equipment for the leather, shoe, rubber and plastics industries, the directory has been produced with the support of APEX (Brazilian Export Agency) and will be published in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Five thousand copies will be printed and distributed to potential buyers of Brazilian machinery around the world.  It will contain details of the products bearing the “By Brasil” brand and their manufacturers.

 

According to ABRAMEQ, Brazil has already consolidated its image as supplier of quality machinery in Latin America. The directory is seen as widening the presence of Brazilian goods in the domestic market, as well as demonstrating its potential in other regions where Brazilian products are not yet so well-known.
