APLF seminars to discuss the resurgence of Hong Kong’s economy

The upcoming edition of the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) will feature seminars on the resurgence of Hong Kong’s economy and also the relationship between the city and mainland China.

 

Ms Pansy Yau, assistant chief economist of the Hong Kong Development Council (HKTDC), will speak on ‘Economic Integration of Greater Pearl River Delta, and Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) Opportunities.’

 

The head of Trade Related Services for Invest Hong Kong, Mr Charles Ng, will present on ‘Hong Kong: The Leading Hub for Sourcing, Import/Export Trade, Exhibition, Distribution and Retail.’

 

APLF will be held in Hong Kong, March 29-April 1 2004 while APLF Fashion Access – Handbags, Travelware, Footwear, Leather Garments and Fashion Accessories’ is scheduled for March 29 – 31 2004.
