Senior marketing moves at US auto leather producer

GST AutoLeather has announced the appointment of Kevin M. Kennedy as its senior vice president - global sales and marketing.

In the newly created position, Mr Kennedy will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company's sales, marketing, customer service, and research and development.

Mr Kennedy joins GST AutoLeather with more than 20 years of experience in programme management, customer development, sales, and product management in the automotive industry. For 15 years, he served in various areas of responsibility at TRW, where he worked extensively on development and sales of automotive interior products, including direct interface with Ford purchasing and engineering management. As vice president of customer development at TRW, he was responsible for global customer development, and management of some 400 engineers, sales people and programme managers.
