Local reports say that the main body of the West China Shoe Industry Zone in Bishan county, Chongqing city in China will be completed by April this year.

The facility will cover 107,000 square metres and house a large production base, a footwear accessory market and a number of foreign companies. The total investment is expected to top Y1 billion ($120 million).
