Camtex reaches settlement with PFL Import/Export Ltd.

The company’s merchandise had been found to contain fake Cambrelle linings and carry fake Cambrelle hangtags. Under the terms of the settlement, PFL Import/Export will pay financial damages and Camtex Fabrics’ legal costs.
Kieran O’Hare, Camtex Fabrics managing director said: “While we are pleased to have reached an agreement with the company concerned, the case nevertheless underlines the importance of footwear wholesalers and importers ensuring that their products contain only genuine Cambrelle linings. It is our policy to take action against anyone that has infringed our Cambrelle trade mark or who wrongly uses our distinctive pique pattern.”
