500 exhibitors expected at Midec
The upcoming edition of the international footwear fashion fair, Midec Paris, will feature collections for winter 2004/05 and updates for summer 2004.
Around 500 exhibitors, including over 30 new international brands, will attend the show, which will be held in a brand new venue at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles,
The ‘Winter Moods’ forum will feature trends for men’s and women’s footwear and encompass four themes: ‘Lounge Spirit’, ‘Performance’, ‘Pleasure’ and ‘Technoland’.
‘The Children’s Area’ will include its own fashion theatre and reflect four fashion moods for winter 2004/05: ‘Tradi Kids’, ‘Urban Sport’, ‘Pretty Girls’ and ‘Techno Nature’ while ‘Actualite’ will provide a special updates area, highlighting the main features for summer 2004.
‘Visions de Mode’, meanwhile, will welcome a selection of international brands targeting professionals looking for trendy fashion products with an upscale image and the ‘Imagine’ area will provide an imaginative design and paths to be followed in the near future.
