Colourful outlook from TFL
In association with Italian designers Carmen Rimoldi and Sergio Belloni, leather chemicals producer TFL has released its Forecast of Fashion Colours for Leather for the autumn/winter 2005 /2006.
As in previous seasons, the colour preferences have been categorised into the three separate fashion areas of ‘Elegant’, ‘Classic’ and ‘Sport’. Styling directions, as well as general fashion considerations and garment trends are also included, together with recipes from beamhouse through to finishing.
Elegant shades are characterised by light and neutral tones such as beige, as well as greyish and powdery tinges of greenish blues. Classic colours are described as having warm, energising shades and combined with Sibirian tones and darker contrasts. For their part, Sport tones play with an opulent, determined range and lively tones. The TFL Forecast of Fashion Colours for Leather is published twice a year.
