Playboy licensing agreement for UK leatherwear producer

02/02/2004

The Playboy brand is to launch a new range of leatherwear through a licensing deal with the Manchester, UK-based leatherwear producer,  Northern Suede and Leather (NSL).

The collection for 16-30 year-old women will be produced by NSL for the UK and European markets and encompass jackets, skirts, bustiers and leather jeans with a “sassy and fun look.” The range will be available in pastel shades of suede and leather and complement existing Playboy clothing and accessories.

Syd Arron, managing director of NSL, said: “Playboy is one of the world’s most iconic brands and is the must have item for girls across Europe.  Our leatherwear will target girls who like to go out, look good and have a fun time.”

NSL already holds leatherwear licenses with brands Ben Sherman and Peter Werth.
