Record exhibitors expected at February Mod’Amont

09/01/2004

The organisers of the February 2004 edition of Mod’Amont say the show will feature a record number of exhibitors – up 8.8% on February 2003.

According to organisers, Sepic, 222 exhibitors from 19 countries will present trends for spring/summer 2005 in six individual forums.

The ‘Trend Area’ will feature fashion panels, mood visuals, colour ranges and materials to “make the link between trends and the key components of the season for apparel, lingerie, footwear and leather goods.” The show’s main forum, the ‘Trimmings Collection’, meanwhile, will unveil eveningwear, daywear and beachwear collections for men and women.

Sepic says the exhibition’s ‘Special Focus on Footwear and Leather Goods’ forum, designed by the Bureau de Style Chausseure, will interpret nine fashion trends picked out for Mod’Amont.

The ‘Technopole’ area will emphasise the impact of sportswear by teaming up various technical materials and using functional items in new ways. The forum will feature prototypes of clothes, bags, shoes and other items typical of the sportswear industry.

The ‘Juniors’ area will explore the need for mix and match clothing through the theme of ‘Revival’ while the ‘Body Design’ forum will feature costume jewellery.

Mod’Amont will be held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre – Hall 3, February 25-28 2004. Autumn/winter 2005/2006 collections will be unveiled at the September 21-24 2004 edition of the show.
