2.5% GDP increase expected for Czech Republic in 2003
According to a report by the Czech Republic Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to rise 2.5% in 2003 while unemployment figures are expected to increase 7.5%.
The organisation predicts that GDP will go up 2.9% in 2004 and 3.2% in 2005 while unemployment figures will rise 7.5% and 7.3% respectively. In 2006 the country’s budget gap is expected to fall to 4% of GDP.
