$600 million export target for China’s Zhejiang Shouwang Group

The Chinese leather and fur garment manufacturer, Zhejiang Shouwang Group Co. Ltd, has set itself an export target of $600 million by 2006.

 

The company, which was China’s leading fur garment producer in 2002 with exports of $83.9 million, is also aiming to export 20 million fur garments this year.

 

In order to reach these goals, the group is in the process of expanding its production centre by 34,000 square metres. The company has also enlisted the help of top designers and technicians from Italy and invested in the latest machinery and technology.
