Overseas visitors to APLF 30% up
Early figures suggest overseas visitors to the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) 2003 October Show, held October 6-8, were up 30%, according to organisers APLF Limited. Exhibitors and buyers’ reaction to the new name for the fashion and finished products side of the business, from March 2004 onwards, was also well received, the company says.
In 2004, the newly-named "Fashion Access - Handbags, Travelware, Footwear, Leather Garments and Fashion Accessories" will be held from 29 to 31 March, together with "Materials, Manufacturing and Technology" from 29 March to 1 April, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
