According to Paris-based SIC Group, the event will also provide the venue for the annual general assembly of the African Federation of Leather and Related Industries (AFLAI). At the same time, it will attract the participation of ETFSGMA, the newly-formed grouping of the three associations representing the country’s tanning, shoe and leather garment makers. In response to delegate feedback, the event will have a more commercial orientation than in previous years, SIC says, with buyer/seller meetings and partnership meetings being included in the itinerary.
