SLTC recognition for SATRA stalwarts

The deputy chief executive of SATRA, Mr Richard Turner, has been made a Fellow of the society while Ken Nokes becomes vice president. Mr Turner represents SATRA on a number of key European and international committees responsible for leather test methods. He also serves on the SLTC technical committee. A chemist by training, he has been a member of the society for more than 25 years and often lectures at its seminars.
Mr Nokes recruits and develops members from the leather industry for SATRA. A leather chemistry university graduate, he has worked in tanneries for more than 30 years; as a technologist, manager and director. He is also chairman of both the
