DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise opens new laboratory in Mantes

DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise (DCSE) has opened a new Research and Development facility in Mantes, France, dedicated to surface protection product ranges. The site is already home to DuPont’s Peformance Coatings activities.

 

The new investment is part of the development strategy of DCSE, which benefited from the acquisition of the surface protection and fluoroadditives business assets of ATOFINA in autumn 2002. (See leatherbiz.com, DuPont acquires French surface protection specialist - 05.09.03.)

 

The new facility is close to DuPont’s manufacturing site in Villers St Paul, Oise and is said to be easily accessible by road, rail and air.

 

Martial Pabon, leader of the new laboratory, said: “The technicality of our products makes the presence of a Research and Development team and a technical consultancy essential to stabilise and develop the European markets.”
