In 1888, Giuseppe Fasolo founded what is known today as Fasolo Artefatos de Couro Ltda., Brazil’s best known leather belt, wallet and briefcase manufacturer. The company that started as a small sole leather tannery in the district of Bento Gonçalves – 120 km north of Porto Alegre, capital city of the state of Rio Grande do Sul - is today one of the region’s main leather goods manufacturers and exporters.

As a supplement to its many ranges of leather goods, Fasolo has recently introduced its first footwear collection. The men’s range consists of three brands: Air Cushion made from Napa with TR soles; Notabile in latego leather with rubber soles and Vivere made of Napa with rubber gel soles.

The colours dominating the shoe collections are black, mocha, bamboo, egg yolk, coffee and havanna.  Fasolo offers 186 styles of belts made of leather, cotton and leatherboard with buckles in various metallic finishes as well as embroidered decorations and other accessories. The colours in the belt collection also include tobacco, whisky, ivory, havanna, bamboo, red, black, brown and white.
