The organisers of the 49^th edition of the SAPICA leather goods and footwear fair to be held in Leon, Mexico, October 18-21 2003 have said the show will feature 750 exhibitors from over 25 countries. Around 11,000 visitors are expected to attend the show, which is Latin America’s most prominent footwear fair.

The show will feature trends for spring/summer 2004 and include a number of services, including ‘International Business Meetings’ where international buyers can gather to establish footwear sales and develop business links.

The 48^th edition of the fair, held May 17-20 2003 attracted 10,000 buyers, up 11% on May 2002 and 29% on October 2002.
