According to the ‘Weekly Quality Report’ broadcast on China Central Television (CCTV), Chinese sandals subjected to random quality checks were found to have an 86.3% pass rate.

The results were discovered during inspections covering eight areas, including Beijing, Guangdong and Zhejiang province. 80 different styles were examined in total. The checks included manufacturers, as well as companies or shops dealing in the footwear.
