Mr. N. Shafeeq Ahmed, managing director of the Shafeeq Shameel Group of India was re-elected as president of the India Shoe Federation at the 11th annual general meeting held recently. Those elected as vice presidents were Mr. Yaver Dhala, managing director, Forward Group, Zackriah Sait, joint managing director, Presidency Kid Leather Ltd, Mr. P. V. Gopalakrishna Bachi, managing director, Bachi Shoe Ltd, and Mr. Aqeel Ahmed, managing director, Florence Shoe Co.

Executive Committee Members elected were Dr. T. Ramasami, Mr. M. M. Hashim, Mr. M. Rafeeque Ahmed, Mr. T. Rafeeq Ahmed, Mr. Imthiaz Pasha, Mr. N. Jameel Ahmed, Mr. J. Karthikeyan, Mr. SV Kumar, Mr. S.M. Fazullah, Mr. R. Das, Mr. Md Ismail Sait, Mr. K. Shahid Mansoor, Mr. D. Senthil Murugan, Mr. Iqbal Modi and Mr. Ritesh Tandon.
