Czech fashion fairs attract more visitors

01/09/2003

The 22nd editions of the International Fashion Fairs STYL and KABO held at the end of August in Brno showcased the offerings of the Czech textile, clothing, leather and shoemaking industries for spring/summer 2004.

According to the organisers, foreign exhibitors were much more strongly represented than in recent years.  During the first two days, almost 13% of the visitors were also foreigners, from 31 different countries. During the event, a total of 28 fashion shows were staged with specialist seminars being held to help Czech businesspeople prepare for the  country’s accession to the European Union. A forum of trends and design presented not only the trends for spring and summer 2004 in new colour shades, cuts and materials but also colour shades for autumn/winter 2004/2005.

The 23rd International Fashion Fairs of STYL, KABO will be held February 17 - 19 February 2004.
