Quanzhou City half year footwear exports total $700 million

According to the China Leather Industries Association (CLIA), Quanzhou City, China, exported footwear worth around $700 million, during January-June, 2003. 

 

During the six months, 35,941 lots of footwear (354,565 pairs) worth $702,81 million were inspected by the City’s Customs officials. 80% were sports shoes, bound for the US, the EU and the Middle East.
