Ex-Westan executives form Keystone Leather

Following the management shake-up at Westan (see leatherbiz.com story, ‘Westan the sole survivor’ 20.08.03) Dave Schall and Dave Murdock have formed Keystone Leather Distributors, LLC.

 

Located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the company will be selling primarily vegetable tanned leathers to shoe factories, the shoe repair trade, saddle makers, harness makers and other leather users. The Williamsport facility currently has an inventory of leather from the U.S., Mexico, Europe, South America and Australia.

 

Dave Schall has over 20 years of expertise in both sales and on the manufacturing side of the E.H. Hall/Westfield Tanning Co., where he served inn several roles including sales manager and vice president.  Dave Murdock also has over 20 years experience in tanning, especially on the administrative side. He also served E.H, Hall/Westfield for 20 years, in financial roles, including controller, vice president and president. It was also announced that Harold Kennedy has joined Keystone where he will be active in sales especially to the equestrian and harness markets.
