Dominion Tanners of Winnepeg and Toronto, Canada, announced that the bank has placed the company in receivership. The company had recently announced that it was ending its production of footwear leathers to concentrate on automobile and upholstery leathers.

Both the Winnepeg and Toronto facilities are still producing leathers under the management of the bank.  No date for ending the bankruptcy has been projected.
