The leather chemicals division of Sanford Chemical Co. Elk Grove Village, Illinois has developed a new potent ‘odour control agent’ for use in hide plants and tanneries.

Sandford claims that ‘San Sorb 30’ eliminates hide and tannery odours when sprayed in the air. The product available in orange, lemon and cherry scents, is completely biodegradable and can be purchased in 5 and 55 gallon drums.
