The organisers of the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) to be held September 3-5, 2003 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in China have promised the show will have a strong international line-up.
The exhibition will have 11 national pavilions, including European, Asian, and American countries, as well as Australia.
It will be the first time that Pakistan has had its own area at the show. A delegation of the country’s most prominent 12 tanners will be present - the companies have an annual production capacity of some 145 million square feet of leather.
The exhibition will also include a comprehensive seminar programme to take place September 3-4, 2003. Speakers from Asia, Europe and the US will discuss a range of subjects, including next season’s fashion trends, technological developments, market opportunities and the law.
Subjects will include intellectual property rights in China’ and ‘how clean technology can help international sales’, as well as an overview of the US footwear market.
ACLE will take place at the same time and same venue as Moda Shanghai and the new footwear sourcing event, the China International Footwear Fair.
