Dates for SATRA's ongoing one-day Furniture Flammability Training Course have been extended throughout 2003 and 2004, the UK testing organisation has advised.

The course is aimed at keeping furniture businesses up-to-date with the latest domestic and European furniture flammability standards and is led by SATRA's expert on furniture flammability testing, Roger Marchant.

Specific elements of the course include: Ignition tests for domestic and contract markets; legislation for the domestic market; the UK 1988 Furniture Flammability Regulations; contract furniture, and the role of Europe in furniture safety.

There are remaining places in 2003 for seminars on 10th September and 8th October, SATRA says.
