Dema to launch a new range of mens shoes
The Turkish military, police and safety footwear manufacturer, Dema Deri Mamulleri ve Ayakkabi Sanayi A.S., has launched a new range of mens casual shoes.
The company acquired an existing shoemaking enterprise to double production to around 1,600 pairs per day. About 100 fashion styles are available, including several womens models. Prices average $20.00.
The advantage for makers of combat styles is that they have superior technology, flexibility in production processes and sole-making facilities. Rigorous NATO and defence standards permeate down to street-casual clients, who can wear well made shoes that are comfortable and available in a spectrum of colourful styles.
Dema’s import-export manager, Mr. Serhat Kanlica, elaborated on one way they offer quality at better prices using TPU/PU double-density soles. He said: “Colour choices using TPU are easier because granules are offered in specific colours. PU in one colour can be easily dyed but tanks require cleaning after every colour run.”
