TFL unveils leather colour forecast for autumn/winter 2004-2005

18/07/2003

Leather chemicals producer TFL has unveiled its leather colour forecast for the autumn/winter 2004-2005 season.

The forecast has been produced in association with Italian designers, Carmen Rimoldi and Sergio Belloni, and is divided into three categories - 'Elegant', 'Classic' and 'Sport'. Styling directions, as well as general fashion considerations and trend articles are also included, together with recipes from beamhouse through to finishing.

Elegant shades are characterised by soft, caressing colours “from the world of flowers.” Classic colours, on the other hand, sweep from ruby red to golden yellow and are described as “symbolic and precious tones” that suggest luxury. The Sport palette shows “determined and contrasting tones from the fantasy world of cartoons.”

TFL publish their colour forecast twice each year, in February and August.
