Leather researchers to discuss environment care

The European Union (EU) funded Panatex project is to bring together researchers from the leather, textile and pulp and paper industries to discuss ways of improving the sectors’ environmental problems.

Industry representatives will meet at a workshop to be held in Copenhagen, September 18-19, 2003. The meeting will include presentations on funding opportunities in the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) and on 13 EU projects concerned with the industries and water reuse.

Discussions at the workshop will be documented and presented to the European Commission (EC).
