Premier Vladimir Spidla added that many farmers are in favour of the EU accession as they will benefit from direct subsidies and the lifting of customs duties. He said the
Czech Republic has already received Kcs30 billion ($1.1 million) from the EU ‘Phare Fund’ and will receive more money after it joins.
