Soren Stier has been appointed new managing director of the UK arm of the Danish footwear brand, ECCO. Stier will take up the position in June 2003 and will be based at ECCO UK’s headquarters in Godalming, Surrey.
Replacing Mark Pearson, Stier brings over 12 years of experience working with ECCO in Denmark to the post. Stier says: "I am looking forward to continuing Mark's success in developing the ECCO brand within the UK and working with a truly creative and dynamic team.”
Stier adds: “ECCO is entering an important period in its history as not only is it the company's 40th anniversary this year, but also ECCO UK is celebrating its 21st birthday.”
