After 140 years, Holland’s Van Buren closes its doors

Following the closure of the business by the company’s appointed receivers on Wednesday, the Dutch hide supplier Van Buren would appear to have shipped its last hide.

 

A company spokesperson earlier today blamed a ‘combination of factors’ for the closure of the 140 year-old business, which will likely result in the loss of 35 jobs.
