New Bangladeshi leather factory to open
M/s Sir June (BD) Company Limited has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) to open a finished leather factory in the Dhaka Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh.
A group of South Korean entrepreneurs are said to be behind the project, which is worth $2.1 million (Tk115.4 million).
Sir June says the factory will produce two million square feet of finished leather per year and will create 168 jobs.
