Vietnam’s footwear exports to the EU climb 26%

According to figures released by the Vietnam Leather & Footwear Association, the country exported footwear worth $544 million into the European Union (EU) during the first quarter of 2003, an increase of 26% on the year previous.

 

Vietnam is the second largest importer of footwear into the European Union (EU), accounting for 7.2% of all footwear imports after China’s 7.8% share.
