Tanbridge trades in the red

Canada’s largest leather producer, The Tanbridge Corporation, has announced losses of C$806,178 ($586,347) or C$0.28 ($0.20) per share, for the three months ended March 31, 2003.

 

The figure is slightly improved compared with Q1 2002, when the firm’s losses amounted to C$1 million ($727,319) or $0.37 ($0.26) a share. Sales volume for the quarter declined 4.4% to C$15 million ($10.9 million).

The Toronto Stock Exchange-listed company has plants producing leather in Manitoba, Canada and Pennsylvania, US.
