Bayer Chemicals’ has announced that its recent presentation, “NMP-Free Polyurethane Products for the Leather Industry: A New Challenge for Finishing” was designed to convey that, while the company does not believe that the addition of NMP to the Proposition 65 List and the applicability of the warning requirements represent a legal obstacle to the continued use of NMP in leather products made or sold in California, Bayer has developed an NMP Free dispersion for those interested in an alternative product.
