Wenzhou traders target Turkish and Iraqi markets

Over 200 traders from Wenzhou, China attended the China Commodity Trade Fair held in Istanbul, Turkey on April 11, 2003. 

 

The Chinese traders were at the event to try and improve China and Türkiye’s trading connections and to increase their imports of footwear, shoes, hats, hardware and textiles into the country.

 

As Türkiye is close to Iraq, the Chinese merchants also hope such developments will strengthen China’s links with Iraqi traders.
