Coach opens second flagship store in Japan

Coach Inc, the luxury leather accessories designer today announced the opening of its second flagship store in Japan. It is located in the Shibuya section of Tokyo on Inokashira-dori, a central point within one of Japan’s busiest shopping districts.

 

The 7,300 square foot store on two levels was designed by architecture Michael Neumann and includes key stylistic elements included in Coach’s US flagship stores.

 

Coach’s chairman and CEO Lew Frankfort said: “The Shibuya flagship is one of ten openings planned for this fiscal year. It represents a key step in our strategy to broaden our appeal and grow our market share in Japan – our largest growth opportunity outside the US.”
