Le Cuir à Paris opens in France

15/04/2003

The high-end, fashion orientated exhibition, Le Cuir à Paris opened its doors today at the Porte de Versailles to unveil the future trends, materials and colours for spring/summer 2004. The show is, according to it organisers the SIC group, an attractive shop window from which busy Paris fashion buyers can make their next season’s selections.

For the first time, the fair will include presentations from the Mexican Tanners’ Association (ANPIC) and the two associations that represent exotic skin producers in the US states of Florida and Louisiana. Companies producing manufacturing components and forty new exhibitors, including the American Tanning and Leather Co, Fashion and More GmbH (Germany) and International Leathers Chemicals Srl (Italy) are also at the event for the first time.

SIC says the spring show is also benefiting from two new partner organisations. These are the French Institute of Fashion which will present 12 international designers in the creative cycle and the CTC (French Leather Technical Centre) which will demonstrate the marvels of leather through its materials workshop.

The next edition of Le Cuir à Paris will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles September 17-19 previewing collections for autumn/winter 2004/2005.
