The organisers of China Shoetec 2003 have announced that the fair will go ahead as planned April 9-12, 2003 at Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Centre, Dongguan city.

According to the Dongguan Health Department no cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) have been detected in the city. The show’s organisers say they will however take various preventive measures to intensify the disinfection of the exhibition hall, furniture, exhibits and shuttle buses to the venue.
