The 99th annual meeting of the American Leather Chemists Association (ALCA), will be held June 19-22, 2003 at the Grandover Resort and Conference Center, Greensboro, North Carolina.
The event will feature approximately 25 lectures. This year’s keynote Wilson lecture will be given by Dr David G. Bailey on “Providing research services to several companies in the leather and meat packing industries.” Bailey is a former research chemist for the USDA Agricultural Research Service, and a past president of both the ALCA and the IULTCS. He has also received the ALCA Alsop award.
The meeting will also feature sports competitions, the president’s reception, a fun run, a theme evening and the Annual Awards Banquet.
