New Sialkot leather chemicals laboratory opens for business
The leather chemicals producer, Stahl International, has opened of an applications laboratory and showroom to serve tanneries in the Sialkot area of Pakistan.
Located in a new building built by Stahl’s sub-agent in the area, Set Chemicals, the laboratory incorporates facilities that are said by the company to be directly applicable to the needs of its local customers. These include a hydraulic press, polishing, buffing, dry milling and staking machines, spraying facilities and associated drying ovens. Administration facilities have also been installed.
The laboratory will obviate the need for customer samples to be away to distant laboratories, thereby reducing response times, Stahl says. It is also expected to allow closer consultation with customers.
