Gerber Technology has announced the expansion of its service operations in Australia through shared resources with its sister company, Gerber Coburn. By combining and cross training field service personnel on each company’s products and applications, it is said that this move will improve responsiveness to customers throughout the region. Gerber Technology Pty. Ltd., headquartered in Melbourne, and Gerber Coburn Pty. Ltd., based in Adelaide, will continue to operate as individual sales entities.

Gerber has been active in Australia since 1976. “Australia was one of the first countries to turn to automation to increase productivity and improve quality,” said James Arthurs, President of Gerber Technology. “As a result we are very loyal to our customers in the region.  With this move we are in a unique position to offer improved local service to our customers throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.”
