EU invites bids for shoemaking equipment

The European Union has asked companies to bid for a contract to supply equipment for a Shoemaking Training Institution and Information Centre in Istanbul. The consulting authority is LDK of Greece, who is acting on behalf of the Republic of Turkey. This is a MEDA (Euro-Mediterranean Partnership) project and Turkey qualifies as a member under a bilateral association agreement.

 

Intentions to bid should be received by April 1, 2003 and bidding will begin May 5, 2003 in Ankara, Turkey's capital. Main lots included include: shoemaking workshop equipment, quality control laboratory equipment, CAD-CAM system, hardware and software and information centre equipment, office equipment and training tools.
