Now, in what could be interpreted as a reflection of the show’s growing international credentials, SIC has said that this spring’s show (Port de Versailles, April 15-16) will be the first to attract presentations from the Mexican Tanners’ Association, ANPIC, plus the two associations that represent exotic skin producers in the US states of Florida and Louisiana.
Previewing summer 2004 fashions, the spring show will also benefit from the involvement of two new partner organisations, SIC says. These are the French Institute of Fashion, which will host the five category winners of its ‘Designer of the Year’ competition and the CTC (French Leather Technical Centre), with the latter presenting a series of workshops on making the most of leather.
