Feria de Madrid gears up for March event

Organisers of International Leather Week, Spain’s leading leather and footwear fair, have announced that they already have 540 companies confirmed for the exhibition, which will be held March 28-30, 2003 at the Juan Carlos I Exhibition Centre, Madrid.

 

Feria de Madrid are hosting the event which takes place twice a year and is a joint venture between Modacalzado, the footwear and leather fashion trade fair and Iberpiel Marroquinería, the international leather goods trade fair.

 

The show will preview autumn/winter 2003/2004 footwear and accessory collections, as well as a range of new features for the machinery, raw materials and leather making equipment industries.

 

Hall 4 will once again feature a high-end display area, entitled Bond Street, which will present a range of luxury footwear and leather articles. Featured brands will include, Superga, Sisley, Gianfranco Ferré, Benetton, Braccialini and Rodo Firenze. Twenty companies, belonging to the Italian Footwear Manufacturers Association (ANCI) will also exhibit in hall 4 for the first time.
