One of Italy’s most famous names in tanning machinery, Poletto, is all set to make a comeback following the purchase of the company’s assets and the Poletto name by one of its main creditors, the Bank Pololare di Vicenza.

Arzignano-based Poletto went into administration a year ago amid a liquidity crunch that effectively shut the business down.  (For previous stories, go to the leatherbiz news search facility and enter the word ‘Poletto’).  Commercial and production activity will restart at the Arzignano factory on Monday (February 17) under the new group name of Poletto technology.
