Tannery visit added to Leather Link itinerary

The organisers of The Leather Link (Moscow, June 6) have announced an extra attraction for this year’s event – the opportunity to visit to Russkaya Khoza, Russia’s largest tannery. 

 

Scheduled for June 8, the visit is aimed at demonstrating the advances being made by the Russian tanning sector and its attractiveness as a source of supply to Western customers. The Russian leather trade generated close to $265 million in 2000, says SIC, and the country is seen as offering significant commercial opportunities on a global scale.

 

As previously announced, this year’s Leather Link will overlap with the MosLeather  international leather show (June 4-6). Participants of both events will enjoy a 20% discount.
