Iranian textiles and leather exports leap 40%

Iranian textiles and leather exporters announced on Saturday that their exports for the first nine months of the Iranian year rose by an enormous 40% to US$243 million.

 

The director general of the textile department of the ministry of industries and mines, Golnar Nasrollahi, said that recent changes in currency rates and the economic system marked the need for Iran to attempt to join the World Trade Organisation.
