Karl Kästner shoe factory to close

The 70 year-old Karl Kästner GmbH & Co. shoe factory in Lemberg, Germany, will close at end of February after its owners failed find a buyer. Some 58 workers will lose their jobs.  The factory was best known for its output of high end ladies footwear.
